How I Cook is a weekly newsletter by me, Ben Lippett. I’m a chef and recipe developer, based in London.

I’ve cooked in restaurants all over the world, worked in-house at food magazines and online media publications and I’ve written thousands of recipes. But that’s all work. Here, I want to show you how a chef cooks in their natural habitat, their house, and offer you a guide to really good home cooking.

Every other week, on a Friday, I’ll send out a recipe to try at the weekend. We’ll talk tips and tricks, technique, flavour, when to use olive oil and when to use butter, how to use every part of a roast chicken, how to fillet a fish and cook it beautifully, what music to listen to while you cook and maybe even what wine to drink too. We’ve got so much to talk about, think about, dream about, write about, cook and eat. So, are you in?
